Product Description And Defects
- We try to be accurate as reasonably possible in our descriptions of products available for purchase through the Site. However, our products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our Site are for illustrative purposes only. Colours may appear slightly different in reality due to studio lighting conditions, or variances in computer screen calibration. Wood grains and finishings of each product might differ as they are individually carved. We do however strive to ensure that screen colours are true to life, as much as possible. We do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
- Minor variations in measurement (within 0.8 inches) are not considered a defect. You are responsible for ensuring that your sizing measurements are accurate. If you believe you have received a defective item, at hello@hiatushome with your order number, and a photograph of the defect.
No Returns & Exchanges are allowed with the exception of defective or incorrect items sent:
Incorrect/ Defective Items
- We sincerely apologise for any incorrect or defective items received. Kindly drop our team an email at email@example.com with your order number and a photograph of the defected item within 7 days upon receiving your item, to process an exchange to the correct item for you.
- We regret to inform that we will not be able to accept any return/exchange of the defective item if we are not notified within the stipulated timeframe. Any forms of wear and tear or damage caused to the product after use is not considered a defect and will not be liable for any returns, exchange or refunds. It is the shoppers' responsibility to treat all products received with care.
- All returns must be sent back with the enclosed Return Form, filled in and endorsed accordingly. Please download, print and fill in the form found here. We reserve the rights to reject any returns with no Return Form enclosed or any unendorsed forms.
- All returns must be mailed back via a trackable source such as SingPost's registered mail or courier. We are not liable for any lost returns that are not mailed back via a trackable source. The return will not be valid if we do not receive your parcel and there will also be no compensation for any lost mails.
- All defected/wrong items must be received in its original packaging, unaltered, untouched, with it’s care card intact and purchased directly from www.thehiatuslabel.com only. As most of our boxes are reusable, please post the item with the original box back. We reserve the rights to reject any returns that are not in their original condition.
- Any postage incurred for the exchange will be reimbursed to you in the form of store credits (excluding additional cost for packaging boxes if you have purchased one)
- In the event that a one-to-one exchange to the original item is not available due to stocks availability, a store credit will be issued to you in the form of an online discount code.
- Please allow for 14 business days for the store credit to be issued.
- Store credit is valid for 1 year from its date of issue. Store credit is strictly non-refundable, non-extensible and non-transferable.

- Orders made using Promotional Codes or Store Credit
- Change of mind
- choosing a selection results in a full page refresh
